Al Weshwash Canyon, located near Nuweiba in South Sinai, is a natural wonder formed deep within the mountains. The canyon is famous for its lake, created over centuries by collected rainwater. Named after the sound of the wind ("weshshshshshshsh") blowing over its surface, the lake remains warm due to surrounding granite rocks. The journey to the canyon includes a bumpy jeep ride and around 90 minutes of hiking. Visitors can swim in the lake, dive safely from the cliffs, or relax under palm trees at a nearby oasis while enjoying traditional Bedouin herbal tea.
